The Bernard McFarland family of the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood has been selected for the ABC television network show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition! Hundreds of workers, contractors, and a design team are rebuilding the recipient’s entire home in just 7 days, from March 29-April 4.
The house build has sparked community revitalization. Estridge Companies, Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF), Making Connections Indianapolis, and neighborhood residents are working together to bring much needed services to the entire neighborhood that will transform the lives of community residents.
Home builder Paul Estridge, Jr., president of The Estridge Companies, has a strong desire to positively impact the entire neighborhood, not just one family. Part of the overall vision includes a series of community development meetings that will be held during April and May. Details of those events are listed at www.estridge.com.
