About the workshop:
The Tax-Exempt and Government Entities Division of the Internal Revenue Service will present two one-day workshops for small and medium-sized 501(c)(3) organizations, one in Bloomington, hosted by Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs, and one in Indianapolis, hosted by the Central Indiana Community Foundation and The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University.
Presented by IRS trainers, the workshops will explain what 501(c)(3) organizations must do to keep their tax-exempt status and comply with tax obligations. These introductory workshops are appropriate for administrators, board members, officers, volunteers, and staff of nonprofit organizations, and for their professional advisors. Students are also encouraged to attend. CPE and CLE credits may be available.
This workshop is hosted by the Nonprofit Management Association at Indiana University, the Central Indiana Community Foundation, Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs, and the Center on Philanthropy.
