Hello, my name is Pam Velo and every day I am delighted to assist donors in achieving their philanthropic goals. My job allows me to connect donors with not-for-profit organizations in their areas of interest and passion, and show them how their charitable giving makes a real difference. In my free time I enjoy taking photos, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Pam is Associate Vice President for Donor Services for Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF). In her current position, Pam is responsible for developing and directing policies and services for CICF donors, implementation and evaluation of those services; and assessing and managing departmental and organizational capacity for providing high quality services. Pam also manages several funds at the Foundation, and advises them and other charitable giving entities on strategic philanthropy, ethical wills, and family philanthropy.

In addition to her work with donors and not-for-profit agencies, Pam participates on numerous local Boards and committees to address community needs and opportunities.

Prior to joining the Foundation staff, Pam worked at Community Centers of Indianapolis as Program Director. She also worked at United Way of Central Indiana as a planning and evaluation liaison before joining the Foundation in 1998 as a Grant Officer.

Pam completed a Master’s program in applied social psychology at Purdue University’s School of Science, and received her CAP designation (Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy) from American College. Before entering the non-profit sector, she owned and operated a small business for 15 years.
