Funds & Foundations

Our mission is to enhance the recreational, educational and cultural life of the Indianapolis community by encouraging and soliciting support for our city's parks system.
We are a not-for-profit organization that:

  • Secures private funding to support our parks system.
  • Helps Indy Parks and Recreation build a world-class parks system by providing funding for land acquisition, park programs, capital improvements and maintenance.
  • Advocates for quality parks and greenspace in Marion County.

Since our inception in 1991, individuals, corporations and foundations have contributed more than $40 million to help:

  • Build new parks
  • Maintain existing parks
  • Upgrade facilities
  • Provide support to numerous programs offered to children, families and older adults.
