Indianapolis Parks Foundation
Our mission is to enhance the recreational, educational and cultural life of the Indianapolis community by encouraging and soliciting support for our city's parks system.
We are a not-for-profit organization that:
- Secures private funding to support our parks system.
- Helps Indy Parks and Recreation build a world-class parks system by providing funding for land acquisition, park programs, capital improvements and maintenance.
- Advocates for quality parks and greenspace in Marion County.
Since our inception in 1991, individuals, corporations and foundations have contributed more than $40 million to help:
- Build new parks
- Maintain existing parks
- Upgrade facilities
- Provide support to numerous programs offered to children, families and older adults.
