I’m Ryan Brady and I am passionate about helping small groups of people change the world! As Margaret Mead said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.” I think I might have the best job ever — I get to help people change the world every day. I find the best way to explore Indianapolis is on a run or bike ride with friends; including the many friends I have made through Giving Sum.

Ryan is Director of Strategic Projects for Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF). Ryan works to define, measure and communicate the impact that CICF is making in central Indiana.  Ryan also leads donor services for The Glick Fund. 

In addition to his work with donors and not-for-profit organizations, Ryan is an active member of the Indianapolis community. Current volunteer activities include serving on the boards for Riley Area Development Corporation and the Salvation Army Social Service Center, volunteering as a Big Brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana, and working on international service projects with the Butler YMCA.  Ryan is a current member of Class XXXV of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series.

Prior to joining CICF staff, Ryan worked in the private, government, and not-for-profit sections. For six years, Ryan served with the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis where he helped create youth enrichment programs that focused on preparing urban youth for college. Most recently, he served as the Executive Director of the YMCA at the Athenaeum. Previous professional experiences include volunteering as an AmeriCorps member and working as a business consultant with Crowe Chizek.

Outside of work, Ryan focuses on balancing his mind, body, and spirit. Activities include running marathons, enjoying Indiana’s beauty via a bicycle, working with others on leadership and community development projects, and exploring faith.
