Mary M. Stanley, J.D., Senior Gift Planning Advisor, CICF

Mary is Senior Gift Planning Advisor for Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF).  In her role, she works with individuals and families and their professional advisors to enable them to develop, implement and achieve their charitable goals, both during their lifetime and as a legacy.

Mary is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Arizona and graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis.  Prior to joining CICF, she was partner at Baker & Daniels law firm, where she practiced law from 1982-1998.

Mary is an active member of the Indianapolis community.  She has served on the boards of the IU School of Law – Indianapolis Board of Visitors, Indianapolis Civic Theatre, Indianapolis Garden Club, Park Tudor School, The Dramatic Club, Inc., and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.  Mary has served on the steering committees of several charitable organization capital campaigns and most recently chaired St. Paul’s $8 million capital campaign, which successfully exceeded its goal.  Mary also has volunteered in many capacities with not-for-profit organizations focused on relieving local homelessness and is an active member of St. Paul’s Mission in Mombasa, which supports a center for street boys in Mombasa, Kenya.

Mary is a member of the Planned Giving Group of Indiana, the Estate Planning and Administration Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Probate, Trust and Real Property Section of the Indiana State Bar Association.
