As your partner in philanthropy, CICF offers a wide array of services to make your philanthropy more enjoyable and rewarding. CICF staff can provide customized services to help you meet your unique philanthropic goals. Strategic charitable planning, effective grantmaking, customized analysis, family philanthropy and on-line access to your account are just some of the services offered to donor funds.
In addition to services received by all fund holders, such as charitable gift planning, fund statements, administration and investment of fund assets, and legal compliance for grants, the following products and services are available to help make your philanthropy uniquely your own.
| Strategic Charitable Planning services are customized to fit individual situations and desires. Workbooks, exercises and guides are used to identify your values and interests and then help you to develop a plan that will allow you to achieve your philanthropic goals. Staff are experienced in guiding you through this process, or can offer assistance if you prefer to explore this area alone. | | Grantmaking services offer assistance in developing grant guidelines and preferences for your fund’s grants. We offer consultation with our knowledgeable grant staff, and access to information briefs on topics of interest to you, as well as profiles and assessments of not-for-profit organizations. We also can provide you with educational tools for learning how to make effective grants and conduct site visits on your own. | | Analysis and Reporting includes your fund statement and well as semi-annual reports on CICF investments. Staff will provide a comprehensive Grant History Report detailing your grants in each giving area, as well as geographically, to help you decide if your grantmaking is aligned with your goals. We also can compile a Fund Forecast Report for you that will demonstrate how your fund can grow in future years. | Family Philanthropy services include family meeting facilitation, youth programming, next generation opportunities, recognized speakers on family issues, site visits, governance and succession planning, and assistance in producing a legacy document to communicate your values and experiences to future generations. | CICF Connect is our newest donor service and provides timely, on-line access to your fund information, and gives you the ability to recommend grants from your fund on your schedule 24/7.
