College Readiness Starts at the Y

Back when it was known as the YMCA (or YWCA), the “Y” was a place to go to get – or stay – in shape. But today the “Y” focuses on holistic youth development. And a new initiative launched in Indianapolis, supported by The Indianapolis Foundation and the Efroymson Family Fund, will serve as a model for bringing college readiness activities to Indianapolis Y’s and to Y’s across the country.

CICF welcomes grant applications from charitable organizations that are tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and from governmental agencies. New projects and organizations with their 501(c)(3) status pending may submit an application with the assistance
