CICF’s 2010 Grantseeker's Guide provides an overview of all available grant opportunities at CICF including specific information about fund priorities, how to apply, and when to apply.
Our competitive grants enable not-for-profit organizations to provide effective programs and respond to the needs of people in the neighborhoods and communities in central Indiana.
CICF welcomes grant applications from charitable organizations that are tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and from governmental agencies. New projects and organizations with their 501(c)(3) status pending may submit an application with the assistance of a charitable organization that has agreed to serve as their fiscal sponsor. Read more about our competitive grantmaking program.

| Donor-advised Funds: CICF has numerous donor-advised funds which are vehicles for individuals, families, and companies who use CICF as their partner in charitable giving. The funds enable the donors to engage in their own philanthropic goals and do not invite unsolicited proposals. However, CICF staff may ask organizations to submit information at a donor’s request. |
