Ambassador Randall L. Tobias and Dr. Marianne W. Tobias Endowed Scholarship Fund The Ambassador Randall L. Tobias and Dr. Marianne W. Tobias Endowed Scholarship Fund was created to promote and encourage students of Mexican descent to pursue higher education.
Benjamin Drayer Memorial Scholarship Fund This scholarship honors Ben Drayer, an enthusiastic young man with a positive attitude and an enthusiasm for school.
Betty Lou Kyle Dramatic Arts Scholarship Jon M. Kyle established this fund to honor his wife and their mutual love of the theatre and their desire to give back to the community that has meant so much to their family.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis James R. East Endowed Scholarship Fund The Boys and Girls Clubs of Indianapolis partnered with CICF in 1999 to honor students who are active in the Boys and Girls Clubs of Indianapolis. From 1969-1999, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Indianapolis administered the scholarship program. Many generous donors and the leadership of Dr. James R. East, Dean and Professor Emeritus at IUPUI, made the program possible.
Carter-Lee Legacy Scholarship Fund Carter-Lee Lumber Company is committed to being the premier supplier of quality materials and building solutions to the construction industry. Honesty, integrity, and a desire to do what is right guide the company’s actions.
As a company, Carter-Lee Lumber strives to make a difference in the business relationships we are involved with and in the lives of our employees. Mr. and Mrs. David Carter desire to continue that tradition with the Carter-Lee Legacy Scholarship Fund. The fund hopes to touch the lives of young men and women, and assist them in acquiring the tools to build a successful future.
Church Church Hittle and Antrim Scholarship Fund Church Church Hittle and Antrim is a law firm in Noblesville that established this scholarship fund as a way to give back to the community.
Crooked Stick Scholarship Fund The fund provides scholarships for students living in Hamilton County that are interested and/or involved in golf who are pursuing a secondary education.
Debbie Holwager Memorial Fund This fund was established in memory of Debbie Holwager, a teacher at Clinton Young Elementary School in Perry Township. Her husband created this fund to further the education of students from this area, especially those taught by Debbie.
Donovan M. Hinds Business Scholarship Fund This scholarship honors Donovan Hinds, founder of Don Hinds Ford in Noblesville. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and an active member of the Noblesville community.
Earl W. and Edna L. Russell Scholarship Fund This scholarship fund was created by Mr. and Mrs. Russell to assist students pursuing a technical or vocational degree.
Elizabeth H. Jasper Scholarship Fund The Elizabeth H. Jasper Scholarship is awarded to nominees who are finalists but are not selected as Lilly Endowment Community Scholars. The Elizabeth H. Jasper Scholarship is made possible through a donation to the Marion County Community Scholarship Fund.
Helen L. Hinds Music Scholarship Fund This scholarship is a tribute to Helen Hinds, a Noblesville homemaker with a passion for music. She was a graduate of Indiana University and was very active in the alumni association.
Indiana Constructors, Inc. Scholarship Fund This fund was established by Indiana Constructors, Inc. and its members to assist students interested in pursuing a career in the highway, bridge, and/or the utility construction industry.
The Indianapolis Foundation Community Scholarships Indianapolis Foundation Community Scholarships are awarded to nominees who are finalists but are not selected as Lilly Endowment Community Scholars. The Indianapolis Foundation Community Scholarships are made possible with a grant from The Indianapolis Foundation and donations to the Marion County Community Scholarship Fund.
Insley-Mayer Scholarship Fund Insley-Mayer Scholarships are awarded to nominees who are finalists but are not selected as Lilly Endowment Community Scholars. Insley-Mayer Scholarships are awarded to minority students interested in pursuing a four year degree.
Jason Baker Public Safety Scholarship Fund The scholarship fund was established in memory of Marion County Sheriff Deputy Jason M. Baker #232 who was killed in the line of duty. Jason Baker dedicated his life to service, community, and country. Jason’s parents, Jerry and Sharon Baker, established the fund in memory of their son. Jerry Baker has served as a law enforcement officer since 1971.
Joel Yonover Scholarship Fund This scholarship fund was created in memory of Joel Yonover who was a noted lawyer, insurance company co-founder, and civic volunteer. It is through his love of the performing arts that his friends honor him and his memory.
Joseph B. and Frieda G. Farwick Scholarship Fund Joseph was a 1929 graduate of Sheridan High School. He played football at Purdue University and later worked for American State Bank. Frieda was a homemaker who enjoyed supporting Sheridan sports and music. The scholarship fund was created to continue to support Sheridan students.
Joseph 0. and Geraldine C. Waymire Nursing Scholarship Fund This scholarship fund has been established to honor the memory of Joseph and Geraldine Waymire. Their family philosophy on building a fulfilling life was founded on education. In their later years, they urged their caregivers to continue their own educations to enrich their lives. This scholarship is intended to further the Waymires' educational encouragement. Joyce H. Cline Education Endowment Trust This fund honors Joyce Cline, a teacher in the Sheridan schools for 46 years. Her life-long interest in education resulted in the creation of the William A. Cline and Joyce H. Cline Educational Trust Fund to honor and reward outstanding students and teachers.
Karl T. Harford Good Samaritan Endowed Scholarship Fund Karl T. Harford was a 20 year-old Ball State University sophomore from Carmel who was robbed and killed in March 2004 after offering a ride home to three strangers. Karl’s family created this scholarship fund to honor Karl as the kind, gentle-hearted person he was and to help other students achieve their goal of earning a college degree.
La Plaza Scholarship Fund Leaders of the Hispanic community came together in the spring of 1997 with a vision to build a program that would focus on scholarships for Hispanic youth within the state of Indiana. Charles Garcia, Luis Dominguez, and Esperanza Zendejas founded the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. The mission of the fund is to provide financial support to Hispanic youth of Indiana for post-secondary education and retain high quality Hispanic individuals to the Indiana work force.
Larry C. and Lee Ann Glasscock Scholarship Fund Larry C. Glasscock, chairman, president and CEO of Wellpoint., and his wife, Lee, established the scholarship fund in 2003 to help children of Wellpoint associates realize their dreams of graduating from college and having the opportunities a college education can offer. Mr. Glasscock was a first-generation college student and the family wishes to give back, to invest in future leaders, and to focus on Wellpoint associates and their families.
Legacy Fund Community Scholarships Legacy Fund Community Scholarships are awarded to nominees who are finalists but are not selected as Lilly Endowment Community Scholars. Legacy Fund Community Scholarships are made possible with a grant from Legacy Fund and donations to the Hamilton County Community Scholarship Fund
Lilly Endowment Community Scholarships – Hamilton County Students are nominated by their school. Contact your guidance counselor for more information. All nominated students must complete an application and interview process. Lilly Endowment Community Scholarships provide full tuition and required fees for four Hamilton County students at any accredited Indiana college or university. Recipients in Hamilton County must promise to, upon graduation, give back to the community through active participation in professional, civic, and/or voluntary associations.
Lilly Endowment Community Scholarships – Marion County Students are nominated by their school. Contact your guidance counselor for more information. All nominated students must complete an application process. Lilly Endowment Community Scholarships provide full tuition and required fees for 12 Marion County students at any accredited Indiana college or university. Recipients in Marion County must promise to, upon graduation, give back to the community through active participation in professional, civic, and/or voluntary associations.
Mary Sue Rowland Scholarship Fund The friends and family of Mary Sue Rowland established this scholarship fund in grateful appreciation of her eight years of service as mayor of Noblesville.
Mexican Scholarship Fund The Mexican Scholarship Fund was created by the Consulate of Mexico in Indianapolis to promote and encourage students of Mexican descent to pursue higher education.
Michael and Anna Kurty Scholarship for Students of Engineering Mr. and Mrs. George Kurty created this scholarship in honor of Mr. Kurty’s parents.
Mildred B. Price Nursing Scholarship Fund This fund was created in memory of Mildred B. Price by her son, Bill Price.
Pliny and Mildred Randall School Trust Fund Although Mr. and Mrs. Randall never had children themselves, they had a strong desire to have a positive effect on both children and education.
Richard H. Crosser Memorial Scholarship Funds Richard H. Crosser was the co-founder of Crossmann Communities. Crossmann Communities donates to scholarship funds in the communities where its homes are built. In turn, scholarships are awarded to students interested in any type of building trade who live in areas with Crossmann homes.

Sallie Mae Scholarship Fund Sallie Mae High School Scholarships are awarded to nominees who are finalists but are not selected as Lilly Endowment Community Scholars. Sallie Mae created a scholarship fund to promote educational opportunities for students in Hamilton County. The Sallie Mae Scholarship is made possible through a donation to the Hamilton County Community Scholarship Fund.
Wilbur L. Appel Sr. and Gertrude S. Appel Scholarships The Wilber L. Appel Sr. and Gertrude Appel Scholarships are awarded to nominees who are finalists but are not selected as Lilly Endowment Community Scholars. The Appel Scholarship is made possible through a donation to the Marion County Community Scholarship Fund.
