 Legacy Fund (a CICF affiliate) serves Hamilton County by providing donors a vehicle for using their gifts in the most effective ways.
Many individuals throughout the county, who contribute both large and small gifts, enable the Foundation to significantly impact the community through its grantmaking program and the charitable endowment funds established.
While the Foundation maintains its focus on Hamilton County charitable organizations, its work continues as a founding partner of CICF.
 Legacy Fund is governed by a publicly-appointed board of governors composed of local business and community leaders who serve three-year terms.

Among the many who risked reputation, harm and even death to fight slavery, one name – George Boxley – has been all but lost in Indiana history. Now, through grants from several organizations, the town of Sheridan, Indiana, is reclaiming the credit Boxley has been due for 180 years. And in doing so, the town itself will reclaim a place in Indiana history.
