About Women's Fund The Women's Fund of Central Indiana is a special interest fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation. We award grants to programs that give opportunities, encouragement, knowledge, and hope to women and girls in central Indiana.
An advisory board and emeritus board composed of local business and community leaders who care deeply about women's issues governs the Women's Fund. Members are active in all decision making and policy development for the Fund, including all funding decisions.
Gifts help Women's Fund continue its crucial work in central Indiana not just today, but into the future. Contributing to the Women's Fund permanent endowment means more than a one-time gift. The assets build interest over time and then the earnings are distributed in the form of grants to targeted programs. An endowment allows for flexible funding decisions based on changing needs and opportunities in the community. Women's Fund also offers GO Funds (Girl's Outreach), a program designed to teach philanthropy to young girls. The generous support of Women's Fund Partners make the operations of Women’s Fund possible.
