Indiana Immunization Coalition

The mission of the Indiana Immunization Coalition is to reduce the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases through education, advocacy, statewide collaboration, and direct vaccination services.

About Indiana Immunization Coalition

The Indiana Immunization Coalition administered over 49,000 vaccines in 2025 to communities across the state of Indiana. The mobile vaccine program is an effective strategy for reaching families facing barriers. IIC aims to eliminate access, financial, and language barriers that many families encounter when seeking vaccinations.

Clinics are conducted in under-resourced neighborhoods with low vaccination rates and are held in various locations, including schools, immigrant and refugee service agencies, prison re-entry programs, churches, community centers, and assisted living facilities. Clinics are scheduled at convenient times for families, such as evenings, weekends, or during the school day. Language interpreters are available on-site to facilitate communication between staff and non-English speaking families, addressing their questions and boosting their confidence in receiving vaccinations. Additionally, families who are under-insured or uninsured receive all necessary vaccines at no cost to them.
