IMPACT Central Indiana & PitchFeast

pitchfeast

During each event, ten entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to showcase their business or start-up to a group of investors and compete for a chance to receive start-up capital that will help the business grow. The investments are being awarded in the form of equity or low-interest loans, and in the amount(s) of $25,000 for first prize, $15,000 for second prize, and $10,000 for third prize. There will also be a fourth prize of $5,000 given to the “audience’s choice.”

Each participant, who must identify as a Black or Brown entrepreneur and live in Central Indiana, will be given five minutes to pitch their business to a group of investors and a live audience. In addition to receiving business start-up capital, participants will be provided with other wrap-around services aimed at supporting the entrepreneur.

The goal of the IMPACT Central Indiana and PitchFeast collaboration is to create an investment pipeline for Black and Brown entrepreneurs, who are normally overlooked when it comes to receiving business start-up capital.
