CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTIONS FROM IRA ACCOUNTS
IRAs MAY NOT make a charitable distribution to a Donor Advised Fund (DAF). Please do not have your IRA custodian send a distribution to your DAF, as that may be treated as a taxable distribution to you. In lieu of sending an IRA charitable distribution to your DAF, please consider making a gift to support one of our Collaborative Partners, which include Hamilton County Community Foundation, Indianapolis Foundation, Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, or check out our giving library for nonprofits to support in this season of giving.

If you have any questions or need any assistance, please reach out to your philanthropic advisor.
