Dance Kaleidoscope

Dance Kaleidoscope is Indiana’s longest-running professional contemporary dance company, inspiring audiences through bold, innovative performances for more than 50 years. Based in Indianapolis, we are committed to artistic excellence, presenting the work of nationally recognized choreographers, nurturing emerging voices, and providing transformative experiences for audiences of all ages.

Our dancers are highly trained professionals who dedicate their lives to this art form, performing powerful, emotionally resonant works that explore the human experience. Dance Kaleidoscope also invests in the future of dance through our school and student ensembles, which serve over 270 young dancers each year with inclusive, nurturing instruction with fees based on a sliding scale.

As a nonprofit arts organization, we rely on the support of donors to sustain our mission. We are currently seeking funding in three key areas:

1. Operational Support: These essential funds help cover dancer salaries, staff compensation, production costs, and day-to-day operations. As we continue to raise industry standards for artist pay and benefits, this support directly uplifts the professionals who bring our work to life.
2. New Works Fund: Your investment in this fund allows us to commission original choreography from a diverse range of leading and emerging artists, ensuring that fresh, relevant voices are brought to the stage.
3. New Music Fund: Contributions to this fund help us engage composers and musicians to create one-of-a-kind musical experiences for our audiences.
