About Carmel Education Foundation

For nearly 60 years, Carmel Education Foundation (CEF) has been investing in students, supporting educators, and strengthening the Carmel Clay community. Carmel Education Foundation works alongside Carmel Clay Schools (CCS) to provide classroom grants, scholarships, and essential resources that fuel innovation, inspire learning, and bridge financial gaps. CEF’s support helps to fill the financial gaps between state and federal funding and out-of-pocket expenses by teachers and families by engaging the community to invest in students’ educational experience.

With over $2.5 million in scholarships awarded to Carmel High School students and over $1 million in grants funding innovative classroom experiences, Carmel Education Foundation is shaping the future by investing in education today.

Whether it’s through financial contributions, program support, or developing meaningful connections between students and their community, CEF is committed to igniting potential and transforming lives one grant, one scholarship, and one philanthropic event at a time. Every initiative we support is driven by a core belief: when schools and community come together, powerful things happen.

CEF has more than ten annual committees that are composed of board and community members. All of our committees support our strategic initiatives for 2024–2027. We welcome new ideas and perspectives and look forward to connecting with you.

We invite you to explore our Impact Report 2024-2025 to see what we have accomplished this year. Your support helps us continue this important work, and every donation brings us one step closer to expanding opportunities for students across our community.
