To promote and advance central Indiana's Asian community toward civic leadership and community service; to nurture cultural diversity; to develop partnerships with community organizations; and to contribute unique Asian talent and resources.
About the Asian American Alliance
Asian American Alliance Inc.’s mission is to empower, inspire and influence Asian Americans residing in Indiana to lead and serve in business and community. We are an umbrella organization serving over 275,000 Hoosiers with Asian heritage.
A few of our programs are listed here:
– Celebrating the annual Asian Fest featuring culture, arts, music and food of Asia in May that welcomes over 3000 guests
– Recognizing partners and volunteers of AAAI during the annual gala
– Hosting four speaker series per year with an eminent leader – Seat At The Table
– Organizing an annual youth leadership conference
– Displaying audio/video to highlight contributions of Asian Americans in Indiana on the AES building in May for Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
– Organizing multicultural professional networking event, Soul, Salsa and Sushi, in partnership with Latino and Black professional groups.
Additionally, you can find us participating in, serving, and contributing to various community events.
Our key differentiator is that our programs are open to everyone (not limited to Asians) and offered absolutely free to all.
Our goal is to raise funds to expand our programs across the state, as our population has been increasing, and to hire staff. We are currently a volunteer-run organization.
