B.Legendary: The Hub

B.Legendary: The Hub is a youth development program centered on leadership, mentorship, inspiration, entrepreneurship, and exploration for high school youth throughout Indianapolis, particularly young people from inner-city communities who are often marginalized, overlooked, or disconnected from traditional opportunities. Our mission is to create safe, supportive spaces where youth can discover their strengths, build confidence, develop meaningful relationships, and envision successful futures beyond their current circumstances.

Funding Impact:
Continued funding of $45,000 will allow B.Legendary: The Hub to expand its programming with a stronger focus on one-on-one mentorship and individualized youth development. Funding will support mentors, entrepreneurship and leadership workshops, youth incentives, transportation, educational and career exploration, enrichment experiences, program supplies, and opportunities that may otherwise be financially inaccessible to participating families.

A major focus will be exposing youth to entrepreneurship and careers within today’s creative economy. Participants will learn about business ownership, branding, financial literacy, content creation, entertainment, fashion, sports, media, and other career pathways. Through B.Legendary’s community and professional relationships, youth will have opportunities to connect with entrepreneurs, entertainers, athletes, content creators, business professionals, and community leaders who can share real-world experiences and demonstrate what is possible.

Rather than only speaking to youth about success, The Hub creates opportunities for them to see it, experience it, and build relationships with people achieving it. Individual mentoring will also help participants establish personal, academic, career, and entrepreneurial goals while receiving consistent accountability and encouragement.

The $45,000 investment will help B.Legendary continue removing barriers to opportunity while providing Indianapolis youth with the access, exposure, mentorship, skills, and meaningful connections needed to become confident leaders, entrepreneurs, creators, and changemakers within their communities.
