Gail Fotheringham Farnsley Fund

Please Give to the Gail Fotheringham Farnsley Fund

Gail Fotheringham Farnsley has been a champion for inclusion and cooperation in the central Indiana information technology community.  In her professional roles at Cummins, Gartner, Purdue University and the National Center for Women in Information Technology, Gail championed the cause of creating pathways into technical fields for women and other populations underrepresented in tech.  She has mentored hundreds of people, from students to high-level professionals, because she believes the world of tech should look more like the world we live in.

The Gail Fotheringham Farnsley Fund—GF Cubed—was established for the benefit of TechPoint Youth because that is the non-profit service organization closest to Gail’s heart.  For years TechPoint Youth has created opportunities for children of all backgrounds, including the largest REC/Vex Robotics program of any state in the country.  For ease of management and for 100% transparency, the fund was placed at CICF for TechPoint Youth to use each year.

TechPoint Youth will use the money from the GF Cubed fund to offer special programs for kids and teachers year after year.  Because these funds are from private donations, there are no limits based on government DEI restrictions.  This fund is intended to support diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM fields, just as Gail as always done with her own time.

If you want to thank Gail for mentoring or connections she helped make possible, or if you just want to trust her judgment that TechPoint Youth is an excellent vehicle for increasing inclusion in tech, please consider donating to GF Cubed.
