About Claude McNeal Productions
Claude McNeal Productions (CMP) is an Indianapolis nonprofit that uses theatre to educate, inspire, entertain, and bring people together. Through professional productions, arts education, and community partnerships, CMP creates opportunities for people of all ages to experience the performing arts and explore stories that matter.
CMP’s ACT Out Social-Issue Theatre brings professional actors into schools and community settings to help young people discuss mental health, bullying, relationships, and other challenges they face. Its interactive performances help participants consider choices, practice skills, and connect with support. CMP also presents mainstage productions, student matinees, and performing arts programs that encourage creativity and self-expression.
CMP is seeking funding to sustain and expand this work as it replaces a major source of school programming revenue and builds a more diverse base of support. Contributions will help pay artists and educators, develop and deliver ACT Out programs, keep school performances accessible, produce professional theatre, and cover the staff and facilities needed to serve the community. For more than 20 years, CMP has combined the power of live performance with a commitment to learning, empathy, and connection.
