Lawrence Township School Foundation

The Lawrence Township School Foundation (LTSF) is the nonprofit partner of the MSD of Lawrence Township, serving more than 16,700 students and 2,500 educators across 21 schools in Indianapolis, Indiana. Founded in 1983, LTSF works to remove barriers to learning, expand educational opportunities, and provide enriching experiences that help every student reach their full potential.

LTSF invests in programs that support academic achievement, student wellness, college and career readiness, arts and enrichment opportunities, and basic needs assistance for students and families. Through partnerships with donors, corporations, foundations, and community organizations, the Foundation helps ensure that all students—regardless of their circumstances—have access to opportunities that inspire learning and foster success.

Funding supports a wide range of initiatives, including early literacy and middle school tutoring, STEM and robotics programs, performing arts experiences, college and career exploration opportunities, educational field trips, scholarships, educator grants, and student wellness programs. LTSF also administers the Bridge Fund, which provides direct assistance to students facing financial barriers that may prevent them from fully participating in school and extracurricular activities. Support may help cover items such as academic fees, transportation, clothing, school supplies, and other essential needs that contribute to student success.

In addition, donor support helps fund innovative classroom projects, professional development opportunities for educators, and programs that create meaningful learning experiences beyond the traditional classroom. These investments strengthen educational outcomes, increase student engagement, and provide resources that enhance the overall educational experience for Lawrence Township students.
