Patchwork Global

Patchwork Global has spent the past six years strengthening communities by connecting neighbors, organizations, and local leaders. While the policy environment around immigration and refugee resettlement has shifted, our mission remains unchanged: building stronger communities where neighbors support one another.

Our efforts concentrate on three core areas:

1. Community Integration
   • Statewide Coalition Building — working across the health, education, business, civic, faith, and nonprofit sectors to create awareness and implementation of ways to build integrated communities where all are welcomed and given opportunities to flourish.
   • Workforce Development — training staff, advising on status issues, teaching cultural awareness for both local employers and foreign-born employees, assisting in job placement and up-skilling pipelines.
   • Neighbor for Neighbor support networks — offering practical support to individuals who are still moving from surviving to thriving in this US society.
2. Advocacy — At the statehouse and in local communities

These initiatives allow us to continue strengthening communities while empowering and supporting the local leaders who make the greatest difference in their neighborhoods.

Communities across the United States are becoming more diverse—but systems are not evolving at the same pace. Newcomers often face barriers to employment, healthcare, education, and legal support. At the same time, local communities are willing to help—but lack the structure, coordination, and tools to do so effectively.

This gap leads to isolation, inefficiency, and missed opportunities for both individuals and communities. Patchwork Global exists to bridge that gap. We help people in our neighborhoods support one another—and build systems that make integration possible, sustainable, and scalable.
