About Pretty Passionate Hands
At Pretty Passionate Hands, we walk alongside them. Our Teen Parents Hub provides mentorship, trauma-informed childcare, financial literacy training, mental wellness support, and access to food, clothing, and hygiene essentials. We also run programs like Our Sisterhood for young mothers and Father in Me for young fathers, creating safe spaces where they can heal, grow, and build strong peer networks. Our goal is not just survival — it is to break generational cycles and give these families the tools to thrive. Our funding needs are urgent. We are requesting $50,000 to cover transportation and professional doula care.Transportation is one of the biggest barriers our families face. Without it, teen parents cannot attend prenatal appointments, postpartum care, or even our life-skills classes — where they learn everything from parenting tools to financial strategies to help them succeed. Reliable transportation makes the difference between a young parent missing critical support or stepping into their role with confidence and stability. In addition, we are seeking $30,000 to sustain our mentorship initiatives, ensuring that at least 40 families each year have access to consistent guidance, community, and encouragement. Every dollar given directly changes a young family’s life.
