This scholarship was created by Mr. and Mrs. George Kurty in honor of Mr. Kurty’s parents to support college juniors, seniors, and graduate students pursuing a degree and career in engineering.

Resident Criteria
Degree Criteria
  • Ball State University, Purdue University, University of Evansville, Trine University or Rose- Hulman Institute of Technology Students
Additional Criteria
  • Applicants must currently be sophomores, juniors, seniors or graduate students at Ball State University, Purdue University, University of Evansville, Trine University or Rose- Hulman Institute of Technology Students.
  • Applicants must be pursuing a degree and a future career in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering or mechanical engineering, or any of their sub- disciplines.
  • Applicants must demonstrate financial need and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
