Description

This scholarship is for children of full-time employees (or their domestic partners) of SMC working in the United States.

Resident Criteria
  • High school senior, current or prospective postsecondary student (including graduate programs), or returning student
Degree Criteria
  • Must plan to enroll, or already enrolled, at an accredited college, university or vocational, technical, or trade school for the full upcoming academic year
Additional Criteria
  • Must be a dependent child of a full-time employee (or their domestic partner) of SMC, working in the United States. A “child” is defined, for these purposes, as a natural-born or adopted child, a stepchild or a child for whom the employee or their partner has been appointed the legal guardian or given legal custody. Dependent children of Directors, Board Members and Senior Managers do not qualify for financial assistance. Must be 26 years of age or younger, planning to enroll in a STEM field and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
