Foundation supports organizations focused on housing, health & wellness, and youth development

The Crosser Family Foundation, a fund of Hamilton County Community Foundation, announced $491,800 in grants to 21 nonprofit organizations. Working with Hamilton County Community Foundation staff, the Crosser Family Foundation advisors support organizations focusing on the Hamilton County communities or surrounding areas in Central Indiana.

“Nonprofit organizations in our community are doing critical work that supports many who live and work here,” said Craig Crosser. “We are thrilled to partner with them in continuation of this work.”

Some of the organizations receiving support include:

Agape Therapeutic Riding Resources ($100,000) — Funds will be distributed over three years to support the redevelopment of a new property designed to meet the growing needs and future sustainability of the organization. Agape is a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH) premier accredited center offering equine-assisted services to clients encountering physical, mental, cognitive and emotional disabilities, as well as other life challenges, including those related to mental health.

Noblesville Schools Education Foundation ($50,000) — Funds will provide wellness and education support for Noblesville Schools through the Education Foundation. Noblesville Schools Education Foundation aims to promote and invest in Noblesville Schools through grants, scholarships, strategic partnerships, and volunteer support.

Noblesville Youth Assistance ($28,000) — Funds will support the Noblesville Youth Assistance Learning Center. Noblesville Youth Assistance helps strengthen youth and families through community involvement. Like other peer Youth Assistance Programs throughout Hamilton County, local volunteers develop and provide access to programs and services that promote positive growth experiences and enhance home and community relationships.

Grants from the Crosser Family Foundation are rooted in the belief that philanthropy should be compassionate and responsible, provide opportunity and justice, and support diversity in the community. The organization aims to support innovative organizations and projects that build strong communities that support housing, health and wellness, and youth development.

“Hamilton County Community Foundation is proud to partner with the Crosser family to support the needs of many in our community,” said Tom Kilian Jr., president of Hamilton County Community Foundation.
