Stronger Partners, Brighter Futures Application

CICF is partnering with Cape Fletcher Associates to offer local charitable fundholders the opportunity to focus on their planned giving program through the Stronger Partners, Brighter Futures initiative at CICF.

Stronger Partners, Brighter Futures is our collaborative’s approach to elevating the conversation and activity of planned giving. With the capacity to significantly and positively affect the long-term sustainability of nonprofit organizations, planned giving is all too often overlooked at many organizations.

As one member of a recent Stronger Partners, Brighter Futures cohort said: “This cohort has really helped to make planned giving a priority for us, and it has given us the tools to make successful asks.”

Organizations with charitable funds at the collaborative are invited to apply for participation in the 2025 Stronger Partners, Brighter Futures cohort. Selected organizations will commit to meeting monthly over a period of nine months. This group of up to six nonprofits will benefit from philanthropic counsel, assistance in launching (or reinvigorating) their planned giving campaign, plus staff and board training.

  • Cohort Meeting #1: Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 8:30-10:30 a.m. (includes breakfast)
  • Cohort Meeting #2: Tuesday, July 15, 2025, 10:00 a.m.-Noon (zoom) **
  • Cohort Meeting #3: Friday, September 12, 2025, 10:00-Noon (at CICF) **
  • Cohort Meeting #4: Monday, November 3, 2025, 3:00-5:00 p.m. (at an org’s HQ)
  • Cohort Meeting #5: Tuesday, December 9, 2025, 11:00-1:00 (at CICF w/lunch)
  • Cohort Meeting #6: Tuesday, February 24, 2026, 8:30-10:30 a.m. (in person, TBD) **

Plus, four 50-minute meetings will be scheduled to occur one-on-one with each cohort member in June, August, October and January. (CEO/ED joins for the June and January meetings as well.)
