End of Year Fund Contributions and Distributions

As we approach the end of 2023, please remember that our effective philanthropy team is here to assist you with year-end distribution requests or contributions to your fund.

DISTRIBUTIONS

Distribution requests must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13 to guarantee that the funds will be received by the organization before the end of the year. Any distribution requests received after Dec. 13 will be processed as received, but we cannot guarantee receipt of the funds by the end of the year.

CONTRIBUTIONS

There are several ways to grow your fund:

ONLINE DONATIONS

Submit an online donation via credit card by midnight on Saturday, Dec. 31. We accept all major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. The IRS states that charitable gifts made by credit card are deemed made on the date the charge is posted to your account as shown on your credit card statement. Donate to your fund online here.

CHECK

Checks may be mailed to our CICF or Hamilton County office locations. All checks must be dated AND postmarked on or before Saturday, Dec. 31 to be considered a 2023 fund contribution. Checks being dropped off must arrive by noon on Friday, Dec. 30. Please include the fund name in the note section of your check.

WIRE TRANSFER
Instruct your financial institution to wire your cash contribution on or before Friday, Dec. 30. Please notify CICF Senior Director of Finance, Jennifer Schrier, at JenS@cicf.org when a transfer is taking place for tracking purposes. Additional instructions are available here.

CHARITABLE STOCK DONATION OR MUTUAL FUNDS 

Contributions must be received in CICF’s BNY Mellon account on or before Friday, Dec. 30 to be designated as a 2023 gift; however, contributions of mutual funds must be initiated before Tuesday, Dec. 13.

Please notify CICF Senior Director of Finance, Jennifer Schrier, at JenS@cicf.org, regarding the amount and the date the transfer is taking place, so she may follow up. Additional instructions are available here.
