judging information

Our judges are there to provide the kind of feedback that propels founders forward. They will be using the rubric below to evaluate your pitch. Because the investment is to help fund the proof of concept, judges are looking for a company that is ready to spend the money in that way. The grant must be used to specifically do what is explained in the pitch.

What happens after judging:

  • All judges and pitch finalists convene on stage:
  • Kendrea and Tom will announce the judges’ pick
  • A series of photos will be taken:
    • The finalists and judges, with Kendrea and CICF Impact Fund
    • Winners and judges, with Kendrea and CICF Impact Fund
Social Media expectations

Pitch finalists are expected to have Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. (If you don’t, set it/them up now!) It will be important to repost the information that we are sharing about you on social media and to create original posts to help share the great news about your pitching opportunity. This will help build excitement about and attendance at the event.

PitchFeast will be posting all about this leading up to the event. We would be so grateful if you could follow them on social media and share the posts about this event.

Winner expectations

Recipients of the investments should take a photo of themselves and share (via social media) about how they utilized the investment funds. The IMPACT Fund provides these investment loans so that you make immediate progress in growing your company. We are documenting how the money is being used and tracking the success of our grant recipients.

Dear [name],

I am so excited to share that I am one of the finalists pitching at The Central Indiana Impact PitchFeast event on Thursday, Oct. 10 at The Collaborative Hub in Fishers! There is also an option to watch this event virtually.

I am competing for one of four investment prizes that evening. The judges will determine who will receive a $25,000, $15,000, and $10,000 investment from the Central Indiana Impact Fund. However, everyone in attendance gets to vote for their favorite startup. That winner will receive a $5000, for being an audience favorite!

I would love for you to be my guest to cheer me on, meet some amazing entrepreneurs, and vote for (name of startup). Dinner will be provided. If you’re available, please click here to register!

Thank you,
