Samaria’s Legacy Fund

Samaria’s Legacy Fund is a fund of The Indianapolis Foundation.

From Samaria’s family:

Samaria was the youngest of four and filled with a love for life. The overflow of that love was her great desire to help and serve others. Named from a story told in the Bible by Jesus about loving your neighbor, Samaria modeled that love for others in her life for both friends and strangers. Bright, charming, easy-going, with a personality like none other, always quick with a joke and an infectious smile, Samaria always found time to invest in and serve others. Samaria dreamed of becoming a police officer.

19-year-old Samaria was called home to be with Jesus on April 15, 2021, in the Fed Ex mass shooting. Samaria’s Legacy has been established to honor her memory.

Samaria’s Legacy Fund supports organizations and programs that value compassion, opportunity and meaningful relationships. Advisors of the fund will work to cultivate a community that strives to see, respect and address the hurts and needs of others with a strong focus on our community’s youth.
