These CICF affiliates are managed by CICF to support major community initiatives that meet pressing needs and improve the quality of life for residents of Marion and Hamilton Counties.
Indiana’s oldest and largest community foundation, it supports organizations and projects that contribute to the overall betterment of Indianapolis.
As the community foundation of Hamilton County, it supports projects designed to make the entire community a beautiful place to live, work and play.
Created by area philanthropists and managed by expert effective philanthropy officers at CICF.
Established by Dan and Lori Efroymson, The Efroymson Family Fund supports efforts to promote the viability of Indianapolis. It has awarded more than $100 million in grants to date.
The Thomas P. and Sondra D. Sheehan Charitable Foundation focuses on improving the lives of children facing debilitating medical challenges.
The Glick Fund was established by Gene and Marilyn Glick in 1998. Today, members of the Glick family and the Gene B. Glick Company continue their tradition of generosity.
The Herbert Simon Family Foundation has been promoting social justice and providing support for organizations across the U.S. and around the world since 1999.
SPECIAL FOCUS FUNDS & PARTNERS
Special Focus Funds and Partners support a specific cause, and are typically jointly managed by CICF and a community or civic group.
The Central Indiana Senior Fund supports senior-serving organizations and identifies and addresses the unique needs of seniors.
The Indianapolis Parks Foundation aims to enhance the recreational, educational and cultural life of Indianapolis through the city’s parks system.
The Summer Youth Program Fund (SYPF) supports summer programs for Marion County youth. It provides grants, coordinates professional development opportunities and more.
Nextech works to elevate technical, critical and problem-solving skills of K-12 students, inspiring and enabling young people from all backgrounds to pursue careers in technology.
The Indianapolis Foundation Library Fund supports efforts to increase literacy, information literacy and access for Marion County residents.
Leadership Indianapolis works to develop a community of leaders equipped to address the issues and opportunities facing the Indianapolis metro area.
Women’s Fund of Central Indiana creates opportunities for women and girls by distributing grants to effective female-supporting organizations throughout Central Indiana.
