How To Apply

Applying for a scholarship is as easy as 1-2-3!

 

Step 1: Do your homework & know your options

Download the 2013 Scholarship Guidebook for detailed information on eligibility criteria for all scholarships administered through CICF.

Step 2: Understand application requirements and timeline

Detailed criteria is listed for each scholarship description in the 2013 Scholarship Guidebook. All applicants applying for a scholarship listed in the General Scholarship Section of the Guidebook are required to apply using our online application system (a link is located in STEP 3 at the bottom of this page). In addition to general questions, the application consists of the following required components:

  • Official transcript: All applications require an official transcript. Please upload a copy of your most recent High School or College transcript. Acceptable transcripts can be obtained from your school or the school’s online system. Copied and pasted grades will not be accepted.
  • References: All applications require two completed recommendation forms. As a courtesy, please allow your references two weeks to complete the form.
  • Essay(s): All applications require at least two essays. Information on scholarships requiring additional essays can be found in the Frequently Asked Questions section.
  • Financial Information: Applicants to all CICF Scholarships are required to complete the Indiana College Cost Estimator through the link provided in the online application. Further information on this tool can be found in the Frequently Asked Questions section.

Students must submit required application materials by the published deadlines below to ensure that award decisions are made in a timely manner.
