Advisors – thank you and thanks to you

Thank you Central Indiana professional advisors for partnering with CICF and its affiliates, The Indianapolis Foundation and Legacy Fund of Hamilton County, to benefit your clients and our community.

THANK YOU to the myriad of professional advisors in Central Indiana who believe in the transformative power of philanthropy, and who have given staff at CICF the tremendous privilege of working with your clients to help fulfill their philanthropic dreams and passions. Your clients’ philanthropy has transformed lives including their own. We feel the great privilege of working with your clients. And it is our pleasure to help you help your clients in the area of philanthropy–any day at any time.

THANKS TO YOU, in 2017, CICF and its affiliates received $10 million from deceased donors whose charitable legacies we will ensure. These charitable legacies will benefit varied not-for-profits and charitable interest areas such as:

  • Noblesville Elementary Football League
  • Humane Society of Hamilton County
  • performing arts organizations in Marion County
  • named scholarship funds at township education foundations
  • organizations supporting children in the foster care system and wounded veterans in Hamilton County
  • the United Way of Missoula County, Montana
  • the Endowment for Indianapolis and the Endowment for Hamilton County, from which grants will be made to effective not-for-profit organizations that continue to improve the quality of life in Central Indiana

THANKS TO YOU, in 2017, at least 25 new planned gift “Future Funds” have been established, and nearly twice as many new current donor-advised funds, scholarship funds and/or designated funds have also been established. Thanks to scholarship funds established in part by your clients, 195 new scholarships and 140 renewed scholarships, totaling more than $1.19 million, were awarded by CICF and its affiliates to students primarily from Hamilton and Marion counties.

We are truly grateful for your shared commitment to your clients, our donors and our community.
