2024 Board of Directors Announced for Partners of CICF Philanthropic Collaborative

The Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF) and its philanthropic collaborative partners, including The Indianapolis Foundation, Hamilton County Community Foundation and Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, announced the appointment of new board members and transitions in board leadership. All changes are effective immediately. 

CICF 

Joining the CICF board of directors this year are Women’s Fund board chair Nichole Wilson, vice president of community health operations at IU Health, and Hamilton County Community Foundation board vice-chair Kristy Murphy, a community volunteer. David Becker, chairman and CEO of First Internet Bank; Andrea Fonseca, vice president at J.P. Morgan Private Bank; Una Osili, associate dean for research and int’l programs at IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, were reappointed for an additional three-year term.  

CICF will continue to be led by chair Mike Simmons, managing director of Jupiter Peak LLC; vice-chair Jasmin French, director, Global Right Environment, Cummins, Inc.; treasurer Kathy Davis, Davis Design Group LLC.; and secretary Andrea Fonseca, vice president at J.P. Morgan Private Bank.    

The following individuals have rolled off their term on the board: Tavonna Harris Askew, former Women’s Fund chair, executive director, Investigations and Right Environment, Cummins Inc.; Jay Merrell, former Hamilton County Community Foundation chair, vice president at IDI Composites International, Inc.; J.A. The Indianapolis Foundation 

The Indianapolis Foundation board of directors will be led by chair Molly Wilkinson Chavers, Principal, Blue Mercury Consulting, LLC and former Executive Director of Indy Hub; vice chair Kathy Davis, Davis Design Group LLC..; secretary Kameelah Shaheed-Diallo, partner, The City Fund. Hamilton County Community Foundation 

Hamilton County Community Foundation will be led by chair Eddie Rivers, president and CEO of Esource Resources; vice-chair Kristy Murphy, community volunteer; secretary Corby Thompson, president of Boomerang Development; treasurer Gina Giacone, partner at Ice Miller, LLP; past chair, Lisa Allen, not-for-profit consultant.   

The foundation welcomes three new directors to the board who will serve for a three-year term: Tom Bayer, partner and Indianapolis market expansion leader at Sikich; Tonya Hyatt, community advocate; Susan Wagner, community volunteer.

Dapp, CEO of Gradex, Inc.; Jay Merrell, vice president at IDI Composites International, Inc.; David Norris, CEO of Emerging Markets at Hylant. Women’s Fund of Central Indiana 

The Advisory Board for Women’s Fund of Central Indiana will be led by elected chair Nichole Wilson, vice president of community health operations at Indiana University Health, and vice-chair Karin Veatch, senior wealth strategy associate at UBS.   

Women’s Fund also welcomes eight new board members: Beatrice Beverly, president of Genesys Solutions/Stop the Violence; Ceceily Brickley, director of resident success for Gene B. Glick/Glick Philanthropies; Tosha Huddleston, vice president of talent, engagement and development at Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis; Doneisha Posey, vice president and general counsel at Black Onyx Management; Ericka Sanders, founder and executive director of You Yes You!; Kristin Seward, OPTIONS Class 22 representative, investment advisor at PNC Institutional Asset Management; Kathryn Wiley, chief legal and strategy officer, Round Room Holdings; Donna Wilkinson, chief people officer, Pacers Sports & Entertainment.
