Central Indiana Community Foundation Philanthropic Collaborative Grants More Than $1.5 Million to Central Indiana Not-For-Profits

Hamilton County Community Foundation, Women’s Fund of Central Indiana and Senior Fund of Central Indiana announced more than $1.5 million in grants to not-for-profits in Central Indiana. All three organizations are part of the Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF) philanthropic collaborative. 

Hamilton County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the CICF philanthropic collaborative, awarded 17 grants totaling $165,000 to Hamilton County not-for-profits. The grants provide unrestricted operating support to organizations aligned with the Foundation’s three community leadership pillars—behavioral health, family and youth empowerment, and inclusive economic growth. These pillars support the mission of the Foundation — to mobilize people, ideas and investment to make Hamilton County a community where every individual has an equitable opportunity to reach their full potential—no matter their place, race or identity. Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, a special interest fund of CICF, awarded 23 grants and a total of $466,000 to support women and girl-serving organizations in the Central Indiana community. Women’s Fund convenes, invests and advocates so all who identify as women and girls living in Central Indiana have an equitable opportunity to reach their full potential, no matter their race, place or identity. Central Indiana Senior Fund, a special interest fund of CICF, awarded 42 grants and a total of $910,000 to organizations serving Central Indiana seniors. The fund invests in organizations and programs that serve seniors—ages 55 and older—who have low- to moderate-income or experience isolation from community resources and opportunities.
